A meeting of the regional Public Chamber was held in Tambov. One of the main topics was the implementation of the demographic policy in the region.
According to the first vice-governor, chief of staff of the head of the regional administration Oleg Ivanov, this year, due to the situation with the coronavirus, the entire medical care system had to be rebuilt. This also includes the opening of new institutions for the treatment of covid patients. Oleg Ivanov noted that the health care system of the region is coping with the tasks, while work continues to improve medical care.
The administration of the Tambov region has developed a set of measures to eliminate risks and achieve the indicators of the national project “Health”. So, together with the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in the region, they developed a plan of priority measures to reduce the mortality rate of the population in the region. We are talking about the fight against oncology, cardiovascular diseases, about the program of strengthening the health of the population.
