Yulia Kovaliv, deputy head of the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, has resigned, she announced on December 21.
“Today I am leaving the post of deputy head of the president’s office. It was an incredible experience and a great responsibility at a difficult time for the country, ”she wrote on Facebook.
Kovaliv did not disclose the reasons for leaving.
She noted that she had the opportunity to accompany the preparation and adoption of many laws that provided important reforms in a number of sectors.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Kovaliv made a significant contribution to the economic development of Ukraine.
It is noted that she remains in the team of the head of state, according to the Telegram channel of the president’s office.
Kovaliv was appointed deputy head of the head of state’s office in September 2019.
Earlier that day, it became known that the former executive director of NJSC Naftogaz, Yuri Vitrenko, who left his post in July, was appointed acting minister of energy.
Olga Buslavets, who held this post, wrote a letter of resignation.
