Costco, one of the world’s largest retailers, offers its customers a one-year Wheels Up private jet charter membership, which entitles them to rent a private jet. “It will be as easy to do as to book a trip by car or rent a vacation home,” – says the description of the new proposal.
True, this service will cost a lot – $ 17,500, but Costco also promises additional benefits: its $ 3,500 shopping card and a $ 4,000 flight credit. The bonus package includes a one-year membership in the service company Inspirato program, which offers short-term rentals of elite class housing, and a “guarantee of the possibility of renting an aircraft any day of the year.”
In addition, potential program members can purchase an additional Fund Program package, which is cheaper and offers a less extensive schedule of possible aircraft rental. There is also an option to pay for each flight separately.
Wheels Up has over 300 aircraft as well as over 1,250 contract aircraft. To ensure flight safety during the coronavirus pandemic, all aircraft will be anti-virus cleaned every 90 days of operation, and passenger cabins will be disinfected prior to each flight.
