Companion of the candidate for the presidency of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya Maria Kolesnikova was released after being detained in Minsk with an apology. This was reported at the headquarters of the ex-candidate for the post of head of Belarus Viktor Babariko, whose leader is the detainee.
Earlier, the three headquarters – Tikhanovskaya, Babariko and another former presidential candidate Valery Tsepkalo – said they had joined forces during a campaign to conduct fair elections. The faces of this campaign are a representative of Tsepkalo’s headquarters, his wife Veronika, a representative of Babariko Kolesnikov’s headquarters, and Tihanovskaya.
“They detained me while leaving the headquarters. When they got into the car and started to leave the parking lot, they blocked the silver bus, and the policemen got out. Maria was taken to the bus by force and left, ”the headquarters press service said.
Later, Kolesnikova was released, as reported at the headquarters of Babariko. According to them, Kolesnikova was released, and the officers said that they confused her, after which they “drove up to the dinner table and apologized.”
