Residents of Salekhard asked the head of the city to organize an open tennis court in the city, where both children and adults could play sports. The head of the district capital, Alexei Titovsky, announced this on his Instagram on August 11.
“The idea is good. I believe that we need to develop this sport as well. Today we looked at the site where the court can be located – near the center “Northern Character”. Nearby there is a sports field for football. The proposal was supported by the initiative group, ”said the head of Salekhard.
He promised that the project documentation would be prepared during the winter, and in the spring work on the arrangement of the court would begin. It will be necessary to make a covering, a fence, a wall for individual training.
