Two thousand American investors with assets ranging from $ 50,000 to $ 1 million participated in a recent Bank of America survey, which showed that half of them sharply worsened their own assessments of economic prospects compared to the beginning of the year and began to fear for the future – both their own and the national economy. Eighty percent of the respondents said that they began to save more and use the funds that they previously spent on leisure activities.

In addition, 38 percent of those surveyed have experienced or worsened insomnia due to financial setbacks and losses, and 37 percent are now worried about rising medical costs. Bank of America analysts noted that the survey results confirm the general trend according to which many Americans, regardless of their level of wealth, are beginning to invest more actively, including through trading platforms, as well as interested in online education and research in the field of savings.
