A memorial sign dedicated to the 25th International Aeronautics Meeting will appear in Velikiye Luki. As the city administration told MK in Pskov, preparatory work has already begun.
The memorial sign will be installed quite far from the place where balloons usually soar into the air. It will be located on the embankment of Lieutenant Schmidt, near the dam. The source of funding for the work is extra-budgetary funds.
Photos from the site were also posted in the community of the city administration on the VKontakte social network. Under the photographs, a Veliky Luch woman addressed the representatives of the administration. She asked to install ramps near the bridge, where work is now underway.
“Accessible environment” has not been canceled, “wrote a disgruntled woman.
“Currently, the issue of arranging a ramp on a pedestrian bridge across the Lovat River in 2021 and within the framework of the Accessible Environment state program is being worked out,” said moderators of the city administration community on the VKontakte social network.
