LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky commented on the claims of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who demanded an apology from him.

According to the politician, he had no conversations with the Chechen leader. He only spoke about the situation in Turkey and Karabakh. Zhirinovsky called what is happening between him and Kadyrov a misunderstanding.

On the air of the channel of Vladimir Solovyov on YouTube, Zhirinovsky stressed that he was asked to comment on someone’s words on this situation. According to the politician, he only said that “the topic of religion should not be touched, as well as nationalities.”

“He did not mention Kadyrov at all … Why he takes it upon himself is not clear,” said the head of the Liberal Democratic Party.

At the same time, Zhirinovsky stressed that Russia is a secular state. The question of religion, according to him, is everyone’s personal business. The politician also pointed out that he is not going to ask permission, what and when to say.

Commenting on Kadyrov’s words about obtaining LDPR mandates in the State Duma, he urged him to name those who allegedly sold them.

Earlier, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadrov, in his Telegram, rudely commented on the words of the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky that the governors do not need to speak out on international issues. As a result, he demanded an apology from Zhirinovsky, simultaneously accusing the politician of trading in deputy mandates.
