In the Primorsky Territory, it is planned to create 12 more new workshops to prepare young people for professional competitions according to WorldSkills standards. The sites will appear on the basis of the Far Eastern Technical College (DVTK) and the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES).

Educational organizations received 75 million rubles from the Ministry of Education of Russia to update the material and technical base. Co-financing from the regional budget will be 10%, said Permyakova.

DVTK will receive a grant in the amount of 25.3 million rubles in the direction of “Construction”, and 13.3 million rubles in the direction of “Art, design and services” and 35.5 million rubles in the direction of “Information and communication technologies” will go to VSUES. writes RIA Vostok-Media.

In total, 20 coastal technical schools and two universities took part in the competition for grants from the Ministry of Education. Institutions have submitted 35 applications.

In July it was reported that 18 workshops would be created in colleges and technical schools of the Krasnodar Territory under the Education national project. They will be equipped with a modern material and technical base in accordance with the requirements of the WorldSkills movement.

Such workshops allow to prepare students for WorldSkills championships, conduct final certification in the format of a demonstration exam and train specialists in the 50+ program within the framework of the Ticket to the Future project.
