Over the past day in Moscow, after undergoing treatment for coronavirus, another 1,088 patients have recovered. The vice-mayor of the capital Anastasia Rakova announced this to reporters on Wednesday, August 12.
“The total number of people who have recovered from the infection has increased to 192,686,” she said, noting that the number of people who have recovered from the infection continues to increase.
The deputy mayor recalled that the cured residents of the capital can become plasma donors or social volunteers and help those who are being treated for infection at home.
To confirm the absence of a disease in a person, after treatment, the patient undergoes special studies. “Upon discharge, all patients who need to remain under observation receive appropriate recommendations,” concluded Rakova.
According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, over the past month, the number of cases of pneumonia in the city has halved. He noted that about 60% of patients with coronavirus or pneumonia in the capital are asymptomatic.
