Analysts have found out where the Russians plan to go on vacation in May due to the suspension of flights with Turkey. The Tutu.ru service analyzed the search data for two April days.
During the week, the number of searches for tickets to Greece increased by 93%, to Egypt – by 84%, to Cyprus – by 82%, to Montenegro – by 100%.
The number of requests for tickets to Israel increased by 212%. This is due to the fact that since May 23, they are ready to receive tourists with antibodies or those who have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
As for the rest in Russia, they were looking for tickets to Anapa, Gelendzhik and Mineralnye Vody by 31%, in Sochi – by 30%, to Simferopol – by 27%.
Among Russians who bought tickets to Turkey for April – December 2021, the majority planned a trip in April (60%) and May (24%).
