When the first child is born, a family in the Volgograd region is provided with a whole range of federal and regional social support measures.
As reported in the regional committee of social protection of the population, from the federal budget for the first newborn is given a lump sum no later than 6 months from the date of birth of the child. It is paid at the place of work of one of the parents, and non-working parents are given an allowance in the bodies of social protection of the population.
This year the amount of this allowance is 18,004.12 rubles.
The monthly newborn allowance is granted until the child reaches the age of 1.5 years. It is paid to working citizens at the place of work in the amount of 40% of the average earnings, to non-working citizens in social protection of the population at the place of residence in the amount of 6,752 rubles.
Also, a monthly payment is due in connection with the birth of the first child for citizens of the Russian Federation, provided that the size of the family’s average per capita income is not more than 2 times the subsistence minimum of the working-age population (for applications in 2020 – 21,588 rubles).
The monthly payment is given from the date of birth of the child and is paid until the child reaches the age of one year. Then you need to submit a new application for the appointment of a monthly payment until the child reaches the age of 2 years, and then 3 years. The amount of such a monthly payment is 10,123 rubles.
An additional one-time allowance of 50,000 rubles is paid from the regional budget for the first newborn if the child is born after December 31, 2018 by a woman under the age of 24 inclusive.
The allowance is prescribed if they applied for it no later than 6 months from the date of the child’s birth.
A monthly allowance for a child from a low-income family is provided for each newborn up to the age of 16 (for students in school – up to 18 years). The amount of the allowance ranges from 327 to 1,030 rubles.
All documents for the provision of regional social support measures must be submitted to the social protection center of the population at the place of residence or to the MFC – a multifunctional center for the provision of state and municipal services, writes “VP.ru”
