What are the precautions to be taken while appearing in the bank exam due to Corona?

Aspirants who are planning to appear in the upcoming bank exams 2021 must have started their exam preparations. Keep a close eye on the exam dates of the bank exams such as IBPS PO, SBI Clerk, etc. With the advent of unlocking, almost all the postponed exams have been rescheduled. They are being held with certain guidelines and precautions to be taken to save themselves from the prevailing Coronavirus. We are still fighting with it but have learned to live with it with certain protocols to play safe with the further spread of this deadly virus.

There are certain guidelines and precautions which are laid down by the government to follow while appearing in the bank exam or any other government job exam due to the widespread Coronavirus. Let us discuss them so that you do not face any barriers while entering the examination hall. 

Recently some upcoming bank exams were rescheduled and one of them is IBPS Clerk 2021 where the following guidelines were laid down in the wake of COVID 19, these are:

1. Norms for Social Distancing

• Candidates are given different times to report to avoid overcrowding.
• Candidates are instructed to report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time as indicated on their respective IBPS Clerk admit card
• Candidates will not be given the Roll number and lab number outside the venue of the examination hall rather they will be informed at the entry point.
• Candidates must maintain a safe social distance from one another to prevent any spread of the virus. 
• Candidates must situate in the row as per the directions given at the exam center

2. Items allowed in the venue

• It is mandatory to wear masks while taking the exam
• Candidates may carry a hand sanitizer of 50ml otherwise it will be available at the entry gate of the center.
• Candidates may wear gloves to avoid any contaminated touch to reach their organs
• Candidates are allowed to take a personal transparent water bottle along with them at the center.
• To carry their Admit card and photo-identity proof for easy entry.
• Candidates may take a pen or pencil whereas it is not required as the bank exams are conducted online.

3. To download Aarogya Setu App

• Candidates should install Aarogya Setu App on their mobile phones
• Candidates need to exhibit their health status to the security guard at the entry gate of the venue. 
• If candidates do not possess a smart-phone, they must bring a health statement as per the approved format
• After Aarogya Setu status is shown at the entry gate, candidates have to switch off their mobile phones and leave them at the chosen location

4. Thermal Checking will be performed at the entry gate

• The temperature of the aspirants will be checked with thermo guns at the entry gate
• Candidates if found with above normal temperature will not be given an entry for the exam

5. Registration of the Candidate 

• The registration of the Candidates will be processed through photo capture
• Standing posture photograph will be taken of the candidate
• The candidates will be given the seat number 

6. Issue of Rough sheet, call letter, and ID proof

• Rough sheets will be set aside at the desk of every candidate
• No extra sheets will be given during the exam
• Candidates should drop the rough sheets in the boxes make available at the exit gate of the lab/venue while parting the exam hall
• Separate drop-boxes will be given for rough sheets and admit card

7. Post Exam protocol

• After the completion of a shift, aspirants will have to move out in a methodical manner with no crowd as initiated by the venue staff.

All the aspirants of SBI Clerk and other Punjab Govt Jobs must note down these protocols. Prepare a medical kit as prescribed in the guidelines and keep it ready for the examination day. Do not forget to carry the mandatory items such as a face mask, admit card, ID proof, and gloves.
