This time the volunteers cleared ten hectares of twenty cubic meters of waste. The volunteers cleared the area that was damaged by the fire and where many belongings from the evacuated tourists remained.
Fifty people worked – employees of the Novorossiysk forestry, the regional forest fire center, the management of the protected areas of the region, ordinary local residents and everyone who is not indifferent. To take out the garbage, the volunteers used a boat and special garbage collection equipment of the Ministry of the Fuel and Energy Complex and Housing and Utilities of the Territory.
We will remind, as previously wrote “MK in the Kuban”, the fire in the reserve happened in the afternoon on August 24. Rescuers arrived at the scene immediately, all people from the territory of “Utrish” were evacuated.
