On August 11, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin met with the public council of the school, which is preparing for delivery in the village of Privolzhsky, Engels District. He drew attention to the strange discrepancy between the quantity and quality of the purchased equipment and the very large amount allocated for this purpose. Community activists complained that according to the project, only 15 computers are purchased for each class, which is clearly not enough for all students. Earlier, they complained on social networks that they had no understanding with the contractor.
It immediately turned out that about 200 million rubles were provided for the purchase of all the necessary equipment at the school. Vyacheslav Volodin compared this amount with the amount spent on the most modern equipment for the pre-university boarding school 64. It turned out that there were half the cost.
The Chairman of the State Duma pointed out that, apparently, there are prices at the school in Privolzhskoye. unreasonably high. He called to deal with this and punish those responsible.
Along the way, the question surfaced that the cost per square meter of construction in the village school is also twice as high as in the same pre-university building in Saratov.
Who initially inflates prices in projects – to urgently clarify this issue Volodin called on officials from the Saratov regional government.
