The territorial bodies of the FIU will do everything on their own. They will receive all the necessary information from the Federal Register of Persons with Disabilities, so citizen participation is not required.
The payment will be set automatically within 10 days after the disability information is received in the register. The recipient will receive a notification by e-mail or by SMS.
“A person is only required to choose which way it is more convenient for him to receive a pension,” noted the Volgograd specialists. – You can submit an application online: through your personal account on the “Gosuslugi” portal or on the PFR website. A statement of delivery is not required if payments have already been established through the FIU.
Note that the procedure for determining disability is now also taking place in absentia on the basis of documents from medical institutions. This procedure will be valid until October 1, 2020.
