Midfielder from Uzbekistan Zhasur Zhaloliddinov signed a contract with Moscow FC Lokomotiv. This was announced on Wednesday, July 29, by the press service of the capital team on Twitter.
The 18-year-old’s agreement with the club is for five years. The player will play at number 23, writes Gazeta.ru.
According to Zhaloliddinov himself, he studied the history of Lokomotiv and knows which players play in the team. He admitted that he was waiting for the acquaintance with Alexei Miranchuk.
“I would like to meet Alexey Miranchuk, we play in the same style, and I am also left-handed. I’m a little worried, but it’s good, because I feel responsible, when the match starts, the excitement goes away, ”the TASS footballer quoted as saying.
Zhasur Zhaloliddinov is a graduate of the Uzbek FC “Bunyodkor” and the youngest football player in the history of the championship of Uzbekistan. As part of the adult team, he made his debut at the age of 16. Zhaloliddinov played 32 matches for the club, where he scored three heads and made three assists. In addition, the midfielder has one match in the national team of Uzbekistan. The specialized portal Transfermarkt estimates the cost of Zhaloliddinov at € 450 thousand.
On July 19, Lokomotiv won silver medals in the Russian Championship and secured participation in the group stage of the Champions League in the 2020/21 season after Krasnodar was defeated by Dynamo Moscow.
