The program is aimed at startup owners between the ages of 25 and 30, living in the east and southeast of the country. The priority sectors are agriculture, catering, healthcare and technology.
The US diplomatic mission in Ukraine will be responsible for the implementation of the project.
“The US Embassy in Ukraine … is announcing an open competition for organizations to apply to conduct a program to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Ukraine by training local start-up owners in sustainable financing of commercial enterprises,” quoted the RT grant description on Sunday, August 9 …
It is assumed that American and Ukrainian experts will tell the participants of the program about the peculiarities of the presentation of business ideas, about the best practices and mechanisms for financing commercial enterprises. Particular attention will be paid to strengthening US-Ukrainian relations.
“Applicant organizations should pay special attention to the development of relations between Americans and Ukrainians through this program <...> It should be a visible expression of cooperation between the United States and Ukraine and help deepen ties between the two states in the business sector,” the document says.
In June, it became known that the US State Department plans to organize a screening of films in Ukraine to demonstrate the values ​​of “American society”, as well as to draw the attention of Ukrainians to social problems in the country.
