The US military killed a child during a training exercise in the Syrian province of Deir Ez-Zor. The incident took place in the village of Hisham not far from the Konoko plant, Telegram channel Directorate 4 reports.
According to eyewitnesses, one of the houses was hit by an artillery mine fired from the side of the US Armed Forces base. The owner of the house, his wife and two children were injured in the explosion. A little later, one child died. The Pentagon has not yet commented on this situation.
As noted by the Syrian media, the US military regularly conducts live-fire exercises in eastern Syria. One of the goals is to train units of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” for the subsequent protection of gas and oil fields.
