For all Russians arriving in Russia from abroad, a mandatory requirement for double testing for coronavirus will be introduced. This rule will take effect in full from May 1, 2021.
At the same time, this rule is already in effect for those who have returned from Turkey and Tanzania. At the request of Rospotrebnadzor, travelers must pass two tests within five days and upload the results to State Services. At least a day must pass between them. In addition, Rospotrebnadzor plans to selectively test foreigners and stateless persons at airports.
Earlier, “MK on Sakhalin” said that since April 15, regular and charter flights between Russia and Turkey, as well as Russia and Tanzania, have ceased. For some islanders, this has turned into unexpected difficulties.
On the positive side, there is information that charter flights to the cities of Egypt – Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh will be opened in the near future.
