In Udmurtia, the local ministry of social policy decided to dismiss an employee of the complex center for social services for the population (KTSSON) of the Selta region. The reason is inappropriate communication with local residents.
According to the press service of the head and government of the republic, under a post in one of the groups in social networks, this official Svetlana Peskisheva “left a comment with an incompetent question.”
It all started when an anonymous user asked whether the Ministry issues New Year gifts to children from low-income or single-parent families. The author argues that a child from a poor or incomplete family cannot be worse than a child from a large family.
He was answered by the user Peskisheva, who turned out to be an official of the social security center. “Did they give birth to children for the state? Everybody is waiting for some money, gifts. As you gave birth, provide it,” she said.
Later, the Ministry of Social Policy of Udmurtia apologized for the actions of the employee. What happened there was called a reason for additional internal work with employees of organizations that are subordinate to the local Ministry of Social Policy in terms of communication with citizens.
The press service also reminded that children in a difficult life situation are provided with New Year’s gifts in the republic. Gifts are given out there at comprehensive social service centers.
