The authorities of the Karelian capital plan to install two new traffic light objects this year: at the intersection in the area of ​​Kirov and Eremeeva streets and at the intersection of Solomenskoe highway and Fedor Timoskainen streets. According to the press service of the mayor’s office, the municipal contract for the work was concluded with SMS LLC.
In Strawn, a traffic light will make life easier for pupils of secondary school â„–7. The intersection will also be equipped with a pedestrian ringing device. On this site, sidewalks, fences and additional lighting will be installed.
The price of a contact for the full scope of work is RUB 9.2 million. The funds were allocated for the Safe High-Quality Roads National Project. The work is scheduled to be completed by 31 August 2021.
