The social network Twitter temporarily blocked the account of the official company of US President Donald Trump in connection with a video with false statements about the coronavirus. CNN informs about it, referring to the representative of the social network.

Earlier, Facebook, which decided to combat the spread of false information about the new coronavirus and remove content with fakes, removed the video from the page of the American leader. It contains an excerpt from a conversation between the head of the White House and Fox News, where he noted that children are “practically immune to COVID-19.”

A Twitter spokesman said the video “violates Twitter’s COVID-19 disinformation rules.” The account owner needs to delete the tweet, as a result of which he will be able to publish messages again, the representatives of the social network conclude.
