It is noted that the patient spent 21 days on mechanical ventilation (ALV) and for another two weeks was on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). This method of treatment allows you to save critically ill patients who are not helped by mechanical ventilation.

A day earlier, doctors at the Domodedovo Central City Hospital rescued a patient with grade 4 lung damage. In total, the man spent 98 days in a medical facility. At the moment, the patient has already been discharged from the hospital and is undergoing outpatient treatment at home.

On February 19, it became known that the doctors of the district clinical hospital in Vidnoye, Moscow Region, rescued a 49-year-old patient with coronavirus infection and complete lung damage.
