US President Donald Trump accused members of Congress of leaking secret information from intelligence briefings on election security issues and distorting it.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (US) has decided not to provide presidential security briefings to members of congressional intelligence committees due to leakage of classified information from past meetings. This decision caused a wave of outrage among Democrats in Congress, who threatened to force them to provide information to US intelligence.

“Director (US National Intelligence) John Ratcliffe provided information to the (House of Representatives Intelligence Committee) and the information was leaked. Whether it was the “slippery Schiff” (head of the committee) or someone else – they leaked information and, worst of all, they leaked the wrong information, “Trump said.

According to him, Ratcliffe is tired of this and wants to provide information in a different form, since there are “snitches” on the committee who are doing clearly illegal things. Trump assured that this issue will be studied separately in the near future.
