In Moscow on Thursday, September 17, showers and wind with gusts up to 23 m / s are expected. Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, said this in an interview with NSN.
According to the meteorologist, showers are predicted in the second half of the day, and up to 17-22 mm of precipitation will fall.
“This is two buckets of water for every square meter of Moscow streets can pour out. I do not exclude the possibility that thunderstorms will thunder here and there, and I predict hail. The wind will increase to 18-23 m / s, which means it can cut down trees, ”the specialist explained.
Tishkovets noted that the air temperature in the city will be up to + 18 … + 22 degrees, but from 18:00 to 22:00 the weather in the capital will be “really dangerous”.
Besides, not the most comfortable weather conditions await Muscovites at the end of the week. Cool, wet and cloudy weather forecast. But next week it will be sunny, and the temperature will be comfortable, no precipitation is expected.
“Nighttime temperatures will range from +3 to +8 degrees, daytime – from +13 to +18 degrees. For the future, I will say that October will be cold, rainy, the average temperature will be 2-3 degrees below normal, ”Tishkovets said.
Earlier on September 17, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a specialist from the Moscow Meteorological Bureau, also warned of heavy downpours and thunderstorms in the capital in the afternoon. In addition, the temperature will start to drop noticeably towards evening.
