The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced four members of the terrorist community who were preparing a terrorist attack on the territory of the Stavropol Territory to long-term imprisonment in a strict regime colony.
The investigation proved in court the guilt of all four of their participation in the activities of the terrorist community, the purpose of which was to commit a terrorist act on the territory of the Stavropol Territory, as well as other crimes in justification of terrorism, the press service of the FSB department for the Stavropol Territory reports.
The verdict in the criminal case initiated two years ago was announced last Wednesday, August 5.
Defendants Dibirov, Aslanov, Abakarov and Nabiev will go to a strict regime colony for terms ranging from 19 to 12 years. The court also ordered them to pay fines to the state revenue in the total amount of one million rubles.
It is reported that the group of terrorists was exposed by operatives of the regional FSB.
Earlier, almost a year ago, the fifth member of this terrorist community, Bashirov, was convicted and received ten years in a strict regime colony.
