Thief “in law” Malkhaz Darchiev (Makho Tbilissky) will be tried in Moscow for occupying a position in the criminal hierarchy, the Moscow prosecutor’s office said. Earlier, the man was charged under Art. 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Darchiev was an associate of such major authorities of the underworld as Vyacheslav Ivankov (Yaponchik) and Aslan Usoyan (Dela Khasan). Makho was considered the successor of the latter in the criminal hierarchy of Russia.

According to the investigation, Makho has been holding a leading position in criminal structures since 2011. It is assumed that criminal leaders in the Moscow, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk and Sverdlovsk regions are subject to his decisions.

Soon the case of Makho Tbilissky will be sent to the Moscow City Court for consideration on the merits. Darchiev already has two terms behind him – for theft and trafficking in illegal substances. Maho was “crowned” in 2009. After the last arrest, he could have been deported to Georgia, where there is also a criminal article for having the status of a thief in law, but he was tried in Russia.
