In Kalmykia, 227 people used the services of rental centers for technical means of rehabilitation. 344 technical means of rehabilitation were issued for free temporary use.
According to the Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Employment of the Republic of Kazakhstan, rental centers for technical means of rehabilitation and care operate in all complex centers of social services for the population of the republic. They have the necessary specialized equipment – exercise equipment, crutches and walking sticks, anti-bedsore pillows and mattresses, wheelchairs, walkers and other technical devices. They are intended for temporary use by older citizens and disabled people, residents who have temporarily lost the ability to self-service. People who provide long-term care to relatives can also receive rehabilitation products.
Within the framework of the implementation of the regional project “Older Generation” of the national project “Demography”, the rental point at the Yustinsk Complex Center for Social Services was recently replenished with 21 units of technical means of rehabilitation.
In total, 564 thousand rubles will be allocated from the republican budget for such purposes this year. As of August 12, 409.8 thousand rubles have already been received, the relevant ministry noted.
