Yesterday, on April 22, at 9.55 am, two cars collided on the A-121 Sortavala highway in the Lakhdenpohskiy region: Fiat Ducato and Gazelle, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Karelia reported.
We have already written that as a result of an accident, both cars turned into heaps of twisted metal. Rescuers had to remove the victims with a special tool.
The traffic police confirmed that before the arrival of the ambulance, three died at the scene of the accident – the passengers of the Gazelle car were killed, the driver required hospitalization. Also, the driver and passenger of the Fiat car had to be hospitalized.
At the scene of the accident, an investigative-operational group and a traffic police squad worked. Checking in progress.
