According to the REN TV channel, the version of the deceased’s wife about the overdose looks implausible. According to many of the musician’s acquaintances, they did not know anything about the fact that he was using drugs. The rapper and founder of the Internet project Versus Battle Restaurateur (Alexander Timartsev) stressed that Cartwright had problems with alcohol and he could go into a binge, but he never spoke about the use of drugs, neither light nor heavy. The musician’s friend Alexander Ziganshin said the same. The rapper himself also said during his lifetime that he did not use “heavy substances” and wrote either sober or under the influence of alcohol.
Earlier on July 30, it became known that Cartwright’s common-law wife Marina Kuhal agreed to undergo a lie detector test to prove that she was not involved in his death.
“She wanted to keep a bright memory of him as a person who simply disappeared into nowhere, but then she realized that this only happens in the cinema,” said her lawyer Irina Skurta.
The dismembered body of Andy Cartwright (Alexander Yushko) was found on July 29. Kuhal stated that he had died of a drug overdose four days earlier.
