During the exercises in the Black Sea, the small missile ship “Ingushetia” repelled the strike of a simulated enemy and struck back with the “Kalibr-NK” missile system. This was announced on Sunday, August 16, by the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF).
It is noted that, according to the plan of the exercise, the air defense crews of “Ingushetia” repelled a missile strike made from the side of a simulated enemy ship, using anti-aircraft artillery weapons. Then, according to the coordinates received from the drones, it was applied by the Kalibr-NK missile system.
The crew of the ship also performed artillery fire at surface and air targets, conducted practical grenade throwing to practice actions to destroy underwater sabotage groups of a simulated enemy while the ship was parked in an unprotected roadstead.
It is specified that the exercise was held in accordance with the plan of combat training and daily activities of the fleet forces in the sea ranges of the Black Sea.
Earlier it was reported that on July 29, after the completion of NATO maneuvers in the Black Sea, military exercises began in the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) of Russia, in which more than 20 ships take part. The exercises involved such vessels as the Admiral Essen, the Pytlivy patrol ship, the Dmitry Rogachev patrol ship, the Orekhovo-Zuevo and Ingushetia small missile ships. In addition, there will be large landing ships Caesar Kunikov and Saratov.
