The prosecutor’s office of Blagoveshchensk organized a check into the fatal accident that occurred on August 10 at 23:00 at the intersection of Mukhina and Promyshlennaya streets. It was established that a passenger car and an ambulance had collided.
According to the press service of the regional health ministry, the sedan driver died on the spot as a result of an accident. Everyone in the ambulance got injured, writes the Amur News Service.
The ambulance doctor in a moderate severity was hospitalized in the traumatology department of the Amur Regional Clinical Hospital. The paramedic and the driver are under medical supervision, their condition is assessed as satisfactory.
Also in the ambulance there were an 11-year-old boy and a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, who were transported by doctors to a medical facility. The children were delivered to the AODKB in satisfactory condition.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Amur Region reports that the circumstances of the accident are being established. Officials of the department will check compliance with road safety legislation. If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken.
On August 9, it was reported that a criminal case was opened in the Krasnoyarsk Territory after an accident, as a result of which four people died and three were injured. The accident took place on the same day on the P-255 Siberia highway.
