In recent months, Russians have most often used the phone to communicate with relatives, friends and colleagues. Such data was shown by a poll by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM), the results of which became known on February 3.
Citizens of the Russian Federation most often communicated with relatives and friends using a mobile phone (85%). 48% of respondents corresponded with loved ones online, almost the same number (47%) met in person.
Almost every second respondent communicated with parents by mobile phone (47%). 40% of respondents met in person, and a third of Russians said they did not communicate with their parents.
79% of respondents prefer to communicate with friends by phone. Almost half of respondents (52%) met with them in person, and 40% preferred online correspondence.
In addition, 79% said they prefer to communicate by mobile phone and with close friends. Moreover, every second respondent (52%) chose personal meetings in this case.
“69% of working Russians communicate with their colleagues by mobile phone, in person – 66%. A third called online correspondence a frequent way of communication (30%), among young people from 18 to 24 years old, every second said this, ”the study says.
To communicate with loved ones, Russians most often used WhatsApp (73%), followed by VKontakte (38%), and Viber (26%).
Earlier, VTsIOM found out what most Russians dream about. In a study on January 11, it was noted that Russian citizens dream of being healthy, improving their living conditions and traveling.
Earlier on the same day, the UN presented the results of a poll, according to which Russians want to see improvements in accessibility of healthcare, environmental protection and respect for human rights in the next quarter of a century.
