The sports complex near the Razvitie Lyceum on Zavelichye in Pskov will be open to everyone. Both schoolchildren and residents of the microdistrict will be able to study at the stadium.
On August 11, the pace of construction of the facility was assessed by the chairman of the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies Alexander Kotov, the press service of the parliament told MK in Pskov.
All earthworks have been completed, the fence is being installed and the foundation is being prepared for laying the pavement on the treadmills and the football field.
The open-type fitness and recreation center (FOKOT) will have a stadium, treadmills, several exercise machines, a workout area and a long jump pit.
Alexander Kotov suggested putting a toilet near the complex. “Not only schoolchildren, but also residents of the entire microdistrict will study here, it is better to foresee in advance if the city has such an opportunity,” he said. Deputy head of the city administration Alexander Konovalov promised to take into account the proposal.
The complex will be closed from 8 pm to 8 am, the rest of the time it will be available for children and adults.
The first FOCOT was opened in Velikiye Luki on Dyatlinka Island in the summer of 2015, a similar one is being built in Plyussa, where the stage of readiness is already high, two more will appear in Sebezh and Pechory.
