Earlier on Tuesday, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova urged not to allow “dissidence” in vaccination against COVID-19.
In August, Russia registered the world’s first coronavirus vaccine, Sputnik V. The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced on October 12 that the UAE Ministry of Health had approved the third phase of its clinical trials in the country.
The results of the first and second phases of clinical studies of “Sputnik V” showed that a sustained humoral and cellular immune response was achieved in 100% of volunteers in the Emirates without any serious side effects.
