The weather in Moscow this week will be changeable, but at positive temperatures the snow will begin to disappear quickly. This was announced on Monday, March 15, by the head of the Hydrometeorological Center Sergei Borshch.
“There will be fluctuations in air temperature and precipitation. This regime will continue for the next week, “he said during a press conference at the Rossiya Segodnya news agency. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
So, thermometer columns during the day will be set at around +2 to +4 degrees, humidity is also predicted. Nevertheless, as the forecaster warned, slight frosts at night will persist. In this case, the temperature contrast will increase, which will lead to rapid melting of the snow.
According to Borshch, the reason for such weather conditions is climate change – a strong warming in the North and a less intense rise in temperatures in equatorial latitudes.
The day before, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that the temperature in the capital after abnormal frosts exceeded zero degrees. So, at 12:00 on March 14, the air temperature in the city reached +0.8 degrees. At the same time, there is a high relative humidity (87.1%) and cloudiness, atmospheric pressure is 743 mm Hg.
