On October 19, at a meeting of the working group on the creation of special economic zones, Governor Igor Rudenya presented the project of the territory of advanced social and economic development “Kuvshinovo”.
The Governor stressed:
– The goal of the project is to diversify the economy, create new competitive industries and new jobs. 4 anchor investment projects and 14 medium and small businesses will be developed in this area. The implementation of the announced projects will make it possible to attract about 15 billion rubles of investments to the regional economy by 2029 and create over 1,400 new jobs.
The project was approved at the meeting of the working group. The next stage is the approval of the resolution by the Russian government.
On the territory of Kuvshinovo it is planned to build an innovative greenhouse complex, a farm for processing dairy products, the production of polymer products and the production of water treatment systems.
