The first stage of vaccination of military personnel against COVID-19 has been completed in the Northern Fleet. About 800 people were vaccinated with the first component of the Sputnik-V vaccine.
In early December, about 100 officers were vaccinated at the first aid post of the support center of the fleet headquarters. First of all, they vaccinated the sailors of the frigate “Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov”.
Also, the vaccination was given to the crews of support vessels and nuclear submarines, which are sent on long voyages.
Vaccinations were organized among military and civilian doctors who treat patients with coronavirus infection, as well as among the command of the military command of the Northern Fleet and military personnel on alert.

Military doctors will inject the second component to patients in three weeks. Next week, the next batch of Sputnik-V vaccine will arrive for routine vaccination of military personnel.
