In the Amur Region, in the Arkharinsky District, the first natural fire in this fire hazardous season was registered. The “Cascade” space monitoring system recorded a thermal point 5 km from the village of Zhuravlevka. Employees of the forest fire group confirmed the fact of a fire on the territory of the Ganukan reserve.

Nine paratroopers and paratroopers of the Amur airbase, four employees of the fire department and one employee of the forest guard are fighting the fire. Three pieces of equipment are also involved. There is no threat to the settlement. According to preliminary data, the fire broke out due to the actions of the local population.

The Amur news service clarifies that a special fire-prevention regime has been established in the region since March 23. Patrolling is carried out in the areas of the state forest fund, in the territories adjacent to settlements.

During the fire season, it is forbidden to visit forests, make fires, and carry out work using open fire. For violation of the rules, citizens are liable to a fine – from 4 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, officials will have to pay from 20 thousand to 50 thousand rubles, and legal entities – from 300 thousand to 500 thousand rubles.

On March 18, it was reported that, according to forecasters, the fire season in the Khabarovsk Territory will be especially dangerous. It will start on March 30th.
