Gastroenterologist and nutritionist Nuria Dianova listed nutritional features in the coronavirus pandemic that will help strengthen the body’s defenses.
According to the doctor, the daily menu must include protein and a set of vitamins, especially D and C. A well-designed diet provides “material” for the production of antibodies, the gastroenterologist emphasizes.
– The menu for the day can be as follows: for breakfast porridge with a piece of cheese, a cup of coffee and a few dried fruits. For lunch, chicken or fish, a side dish of vegetables, such as potatoes. For dinner, something light, you can make a vegetable omelet, – said Nuria Dianova in an interview with Sputnik radio.
For a snack in winter, the doctor advises choosing fruits and cottage cheese, and instead of cookies and muffins, spread hummus on bread.
