They intend to build a pedestrian crossing over the railway tracks in Plyuss this year. According to the results of communication with local residents, this was stated by State Duma deputy, secretary of the regional branch of United Russia, Alexander Kozlovsky, the press service of the parliamentarian told MK in Pskov.

The residents of Plyussa voiced the need to build an equipped crossing to Alexander Kozlovsky back in 2019. The activists of the settlement complained to the parliamentarian that it was simply impossible to cross the railway that separates one part of the village from another – there is simply no pedestrian crossing across the railway tracks between Promyshlennaya Komsomolskaya streets. Against this background, local residents have to cross the rails in the wrong place.

The nearest equipped crossing is at a distance of more than one kilometer, the parliamentarian’s press service explained, and then added that after talking with residents of Plyussa, Alexander Kozlovsky was able to agree with the leadership of Russian Railways on including the construction of the crossing in the company’s investment program.

The design of the new transition took place in the past 2020. Its construction is scheduled to begin in June. The contractor has already been identified.
