The most likely creator of the American Sixth Generation Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter for the US Air Force (Air Force) is the military-industrial company Lockheed Martin. This was reported by Popular Mechanics.
According to the magazine, Lockheed Martin CFO Ken Possenriede hinted that the company is currently working on a new aviation program. Presumably, this could be the Air Force’s new secret fighter.
At the same time, the publication recalled that during a conversation with Wall Street analysts held in October, the manager disclosed information that the program of the Skunk Works division of Lockheed Martin, where, among other things, the fifth generation fighters F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II were developed , reported income and expenses in which it showed “strong double-digit growth.”
Skunk Works is the official name for Lockheed Martin’s development programs. The unit is known in aviation circles for developing some of the most famous aircraft in American history.
On September 1, the industrial director of the aviation complex of the state corporation “Rostec” Anatoly Serdyukov said that the Russian sixth generation fighter could be created jointly by the companies “MiG” and “Sukhoi”.
