In Moscow, a court arrested a girl accused of killing a homeless man whose body was found on a playground in the city center. This was reported to the Moscow city news agency on Wednesday, August 26, at the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the capital.

The body of the homeless man was found on the morning of August 16 at a playground next to residential buildings on Trubnaya Street. No visible bodily injuries were then revealed, but the examination showed that the death occurred as a result of blunt trauma to the abdomen, fractured ribs and rupture of internal organs.

A 21-year-old resident of Moscow wrote a confession in which she fully admitted her guilt in the crime, after which she was detained. The investigation charged her with deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in death by negligence. On August 26, the court chose her a preventive measure in the form of detention.

As part of the investigation of the criminal case, the investigation continues, the collection and consolidation of the evidence base is underway, and other persons who may be involved in the murder of a homeless person are being identified, Moskva 24 writes.
