Roskosmos cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin, Ivan Wagner and NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy were evacuated from the Soyuz MS-16 descent vehicle. The broadcast is on Thursday, October 22, on the Roscosmos website.

The first to get out of the apparatus was Ivanishin, and then Wagner and Cassidy.

“Roscosmos cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin, Ivan Wagner and NASA astronaut Christopher Cassidy are doing well,” said a message posted on the Roscosmos Twitter page.

Roscosmos General Director Dmitry Rogozin has already congratulated the Soyuz MS-16 crew members on their return to Earth.

“There is order on board. I congratulate the crew on their return to Earth, and the members of the State Commission for flight tests of manned complexes – on the successful completion of the next manned mission, ”Rogozin wrote on Twitter.

Earlier on the same day, the Soyuz MS-16 spacecraft with two Russian cosmonauts and an American astronaut returned from the International Space Station (ISS) landed in Kazakhstan.

The flight to the ISS will be continued by the Russians Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov with the American Kathleen Rubins. They will return to Earth in April 2021, writes Gazeta.ru.
