Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov assured that the situation with an air leak does not create problems for the crew, which continues to work on a regular basis. “We have been flying for a year and a half, everything is wonderful,” RIA Novosti quotes Vinogradov as saying.

An air leak from the ISS was recorded in September 2019. Subsequently, it was found out that the reason for which it appeared was a crack 4.5 centimeters long. Recently, it turned out that the site of the leak is most likely not the only one, after which there were reports that the air supply at the station was running out.

Deputy Flight Director of the Russian Segment of the International Space Station Yuri Gidzenko said that in February 2021 it is planned to deliver a special repair kit to the ISS, which will allow sealing.
