The FSB detained Yulia Dobrynina, chairman of the Volgograd district court, in the act. She was caught taking a bribe in the amount of 2.5 million rubles.

IA “SotsInformBuro” reports that the money was to be transferred to her by the spouse of the local “authority” and businessman Vladimir Zubkov.

Zubkov himself was detained by FSB officers in 2019 together with the ex-head of the Volgograd Investigative Committee Mikhail Muzraev. They are suspected of an attempt on the life of the Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrei Bocharov.

Local media and ordinary people have previously attributed Dobrynina’s connection with the local organized crime group, as well as friendship with Zubkov. There are witnesses who saw them during feasts at a tourist center owned by the “authority”. In addition, rumors circulated on the network about the privileged work schedule of the chairman of the court and regular “get-togethers” in the office with representatives of the organized crime group.
