The court sentenced two teenagers who were accused of robbery.
According to the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the robbery took place in December last year in Vologda. The attention of young men 14 and 15 years old was attracted by a shoe store on Mira Street. One teenager stayed at the door to help a friend escape if necessary, while the other went to the trading floor. There he grabbed a box of women’s shoes and rushed to the exit.
The friends sold the stolen goods worth 2 thousand rubles on the market for 700 rubles. With this money, they bought food.
Since the teenagers repented after their arrest and contributed to the investigation, the court sentenced them to a suspended sentence of 2 and 1.5 years. In addition, both are assigned a two-year probationary period.
