In Tatarstan, an increase in the monthly allowance for the first child is expected from the new year. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The department recalled that in 2020, payments in the amount of 9,373 rubles were issued monthly by 28.5 thousand low-income families. In 2021, the amount of the allowance will already be 9,713 rubles, an increase will be 340 rubles, the ministry noted.
The Ministry of Labor of the republic explained that payments are provided to families who have given birth or adopted their first child, whose average per capita income does not exceed two times the subsistence level. That is, families where each family member has no more than 20,588 rubles of income or a family of three with a total income of 61,764 rubles can apply for payments.
