The selection of projects for the integrated development of rural areas, carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, was successful for five initiatives from the Stavropol Territory. The projects of the Aleksandrovsky, Arzgirsky, Ipatovsky, Kirovsky and Kochubeevsky municipalities became the winners.

The projects envisage the transformation and creation of 22 facilities, which will cost a total of one billion rubles, of which 423 million rubles will be allocated in 2021, and 577 million rubles – in 2022.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the regional government, within the framework of the program for 221 years, signed an agreement to allocate 11.9 million rubles from the federal budget to improve the living conditions of villagers, which implies social payments for the construction and purchase of housing, and 5.9 million for the improvement of territories. The Stavropol Territory also sent an application to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Federal Road Agency for financing the construction of a 4 km highway in the Mineralovodsky urban district in the amount of 160 million rubles.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the IC Oleg Yurchenko noted that the recommended roadmaps for the implementation of projects were sent to the heads of administrations and city districts, which would reduce the time for holding auctions.

The state program “Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas” has been in effect since May 2019, in accordance with the decree of the government of the Russian Federation. Funding for the implementation of the program in the Stavropol Territory is 1.1 billion rubles from the federal and regional budgets.
